What's included in my registration?

Your Birth Institute Registration includes access to receptions, educational sessions, forums, lunches, breakfasts, and more beginning at 5:00PM on Thursday, September 12th through 1:45PM on Sunday, September 15th. 

 

What do I need Tickets 🎫 for?

There are a number of Pre & Post Conference Workshops and Special Events that are not included in your Birth Institute Registration, and are denoted in their description by: 🎫 - Ticket required.  This means that they require an extra fee and can be purchased when registering for the Birth Institute.  Space is limited for some events, so don't wait to purchase your tickets.

Where should I stay?

You should stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando!  The AABC conference hotel is the center of Birth Institute activities.  It's easy to go from your room to the education sessions and meetings, and there are many opportunities for networking with your fellow attendees.  Plus the group rates are a savings of up to $70/night off of the prevailing rates.  Click here to review the hotel group rates. How do I find a roommate?

Having a roommate or two to split your hotel room costs, can really help your budget!  Email Linda Baysore at lindabaysore@birthcenters.org and we will try to match you up with one or two roommates (rollaway beds can be added to a room at no extra cost).

 

How do I get to the hotel from the airport?

Who has approved the conference for continuing education (CE)?

AABC will be applying to Pennsylvania State Nurses Association and the American Academy of Family Physicians for approval.  Visit our Continuing Education page for more details.

 

How do I claim continuing education credits?

When you check in at the AABC Registration Desk, you'll be given a Continuing Education Recognition Form.  As you attend sessions, check them off on the form.  Before you leave the conference, add up the total contact hours that you earned, and bring your form to the Registration Desk to be signed.  

 

How many CE Credits can I earn?

The Program is currently being developed. Check back later for more information.  More hours can be earned by attending Pre & Post Conference Workshops. 

 

When can I check in at the Conference?

Sunday             8:00AM - 6:00PM

Note: If you miss our hours on Thursday and are not checked in yet, you can still attend the Welcome Ceremony and Receptions.
