Volunteer at the AABC Birth Institute

AABC offers a work-study program to a select group interested in serving as conference volunteers at the AABC Birth Institute. This opportunity provides exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the conference, participation in convention sessions, celebrations, events, and the chance to earn continuing education credits.

Once we have reviewed your information and the others who have applied, we will notify you if you were accepted into the program and ask you to sign an agreement. Preference will be given to students and Associate Members.

This opportunity does not include travel costs or travel arrangements. Please be aware that if you do not fulfill the obligation while at the Birth Institute, you will be responsible for paying for the cost of the conference.

Conference volunteers play an essential role and are responsible for a variety of important tasks during the conference, including:

Assembling conference handouts (pre-conference)
Assisting staff at the registration desk, including attendee sign-in and retail sales
Assisting with various exhibit hall tasks
Assisting the speaker during the sessions
And more

In exchange for your time as a volunteer, you will receive a complimentary registration to attend the conference. Space in the program is limited. To help us select the best-suited applicants, please complete our online application form, which will help us understand your availability and flexibility for a fast-paced conference schedule.

Previous conference volunteers are welcome to apply again; prior participation does not disqualify you from this program.
