Bethany has been a Registered Nurse since 2000 with experience in pediatrics, emergency/trauma, women’s health and labor and delivery. In 2010 she opened a small lactation business to help fill the gap in care for mothers and babies in Sacramento which quickly evolved into a group practice to meet demand. She attended Frontier in 2012 and became a Nurse Midwife and Nurse Practitioner when she identified the need to add primary healthcare elements to her practice like treating postpartum depression and infant tongue tie. In 2015 she opened the MiLC Clinic, a brick and mortar Breastfeeding Medicine practice. In 2020 she and her team opened a CABC accredited birth center, Midtown Nurse Midwives. The birth center and breastfeeding medicine clinic have served over 3,500 individual families in Northern California.
